Spotlight on Miss Natasha --- By Riff-Raff
When I first met Miss Natasha bka "Tasha Baby" it was the end of 2005. At the time I was searching the web looking for models for Purpose Clothing, a clothing line that I owned for 2 years and was looking to increase the appeal for the print material and the website.
I remember searching through myspace and coming across Natasha. As I looked through her amateur photos I thought to myself, "she has the exact look that my company needs". Very beautiful, commercial appeal, and a very unique look. She has an "unforgettable" face which was perfect for what I was doing.
So I shot her an email telling her what I was looking for and to check out my website and let me know if she was interested. She got back to me almost immediately and told me she was definitely interested and she loved the concept of my clothing line because she was a "woman with a purpose".
I sold the Purpose Clothing brand to another company before Natasha and I ever got a chance to work together. However, over the years I've had the opportunity to get to know her a little, and have been tremendously impressed by what I've seen thus far.
First off... Shorty is a HUSTLER! I've seen her jump in to different business ventures like real estate, throwing parties, promoting clubs and more. She is goal driven, very ambitious, and she has a mindset of being successful. This type of tenacity will take anyone very far in whatever business you're in. I believe that Natasha has what it takes to be the next Tila, Tyra, or even Oprah. I rarely tell anyone to watch out for certain people... But don't sleep on this one!
I interviewed Miss Natasha for this spotlight. This is how it went:

Who is your favorite designer?: I have a few. D&G, Marc Jacobs, Versace. I have high end taste. I'm one of those red carpet women stuck in my current reality.
Tell me a little about you: I'm a people person. Outgoing, energetic with a positive outlook on life. What's that saying?... "loved by few, hated by many?" LOL No, but really, I'm just me. I don't really like talking about myself but I can tell you this; if you read up on the characteristics of a LEO, you'll have a general idea of who I am. I've managed to tweak my own personality but I'm a hard working, passionate, motivated and confident woman. I demand respect, command attention, can be a little bossy but probably one of the sweetest persons you'll meet. There's only ONE me. And at the end of the day, that's all that needs to be known!
What type of shoots do you like doing the best?: Fashion and anything out of the extraordinary. I'm still waiting for that one photographer to come sweep me off of my feet with respect to a PHENOMENAL photo shoot that take me to new heights.
What are some of the goals that you have for your career?:
I wasn't born to make love to the camera, but it seems to be attracted to me. Most people would categorize me as a "model" but I'm just doing me. As far as my career, I'm willing to experience new heights in order to progress forward. Success and happiness with what I'm doing is all I am striving for. Whether it's within the modeling industry, or elsewhere, I'll always be a face to remember. :-)
