Piggy backing off of Anthony's comment God's prohibition on marriage out side of the 12 tribes had nothing to do with their ethnicity and culture, but the other nations disposition towards the one true God that made their race and culture pagan. They where Idolaters! lol. How can you yoke up with someone going after everything else but the one true God? So God doesn't have an issue with race, but being unequally yoked. Anthony made a great point about any issues with race stems from people...people who are imperfect and often fearful embracing of things that are different.

There are examples in the bible where God wanted the Israelites to only marry in the 12 tribes, then there were times where Israelites married outside of their culture. So I think it comes down to the principle of marriage more so than a blanket "policy". So I don't God cares about race or culture but that the principles of God are seen in the marriage. It is people who have the issues with it not God.
