One great way to improve yourself is through Personal Development. Personally I try to read at lease one book per month. Most of you reading this blog are in some type of home-based business and you want to attract a certain type of person to you. So the first thing you have to do is ask your self how do people perceive me?

I think one crucial thing that missing in most people's quest for success is passion. You have to be passionate about something. What's the mission that's driving you, or better yet do you feel called to achieve greatness? You need a reason to continue on your journey for no great prize is attained easily.
Personal Development (Knowledge) will conquer fear when it shows up. PD will evoke passion when you need it. PD will help provide a blueprint/map to success. PD will also prepare you for the pitfalls and potholes that will appear in the road called life. If you know where they are you can avoid them.

Another thing most people don't know is that your pay check is directly connected to what you know. People don't get rich or wealthy by accident. You must first become rich in the mind. Whatever the mind conceives will be manifested. You are what you think about. The average wealthy person reads a book per week. Rich people have big libraries, poor people have big television sets.
You'll notice that the more knowledge you acquire the more you'll change. And when you change your environment will change. When your environment changes the people in will change too. Don't be surprised if your family and friend start to make comments about how your changing. (both positive and negative) Don't fret this must happen to go where your going. You need to adopt the following quote "Follow Me, Lead Me, or Get Out My Way!!!"

There is a quote that one of my mentors taught me. "You are the sum total of your five closest friends" So think about the five people you spend the most time with and how they influence you. If they drink you probably do too, if they smoke you probably do too, if they use profanity they probably do too. However the same goes for positive attributes. If they are wealthy you probably are too, If they are positive and moral people you probably are as well. Get the point?

To attract the right people in our lives sometimes we have to change who we are.
"If you pour your purse into your mind your mind will pour back into your purse."
